The vegan diet definitely receives a lot of hate, honestly not sure why but it does. I’ll be honest, I only gave this diet a go because my skin was having some major issues and I needed a permanent fix, beyond skin care and topical treatments. I’ve always heard to treat from the inside out so that’s what I did.

For a lot of people, including myself, dairy can irritate the skin and cause bloating. I have been dairy free for about a year now, with the exception of the cheat day pizza once a week (I can’t get rid of it.) I have noticed a dramatic change in my skin as well as my bloating since I took it out of my diet.

There are many assumptions that vegan eat nothing because there is nothing for them to eat, FALSE  HUNDRED TIMES FALSE. If anything I eat more now than I did before.

Here is just a little of what I picked up today, I usually get way more but I already had most of what I get at home. I just needed things I had run out of for this trip.



  • silk almond milk
  • silk dark chocolate almond milk (tastes no different than chocolate milk)
  • butternut squash soup
  • little potato company potatoes
  • 2 artichokes
  • spaghetti squash
  • acorn squash
  • garbanzo beans
  • lentils
  • black beans
  • blueberries
  • strawberries
  • silk yogurt x2
  • Amy’s organic soup x2
  • organic tomato & basil sauce
  • spinach
  • just mayo (just is the brand)
  • almond butter
  • earth balance butter soy free
  • gardein beefless ground

*not pictured- 3 bell peppers that I had for dinner before I took this and my 5 avocados
